Rebecca joined Swope Design Group in 2015. In addition to her exceptional design skills, she is highly proficient with space planning, sketching, computer rendering and architectural drafting. Rebecca is a professional member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) where she served a two year term as the Louisville Lexington City Center Director, is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ), and is a Kentucky Certified Interior Designer (KYCID).
Prior to joining Swope Design Group, Rebecca worked with Paoli, LLC in their Marketing Department where she was responsible for developing and designing product imagery, acting as a sustainability coordinator, and designing company owned showrooms and independent representative showrooms.
Rebecca received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Architecture, with a Minor in Communications from the University of Louisville’s Hite Art Institute. During her tenure at the University of Louisville, Rebecca gained valuable design experience while interning at some of Louisville’s leading design firms, including Luckett & Farley and Reese Design Collaborative.
When asked what she believes is the mission of Swope Design Group, Rebecca replied, “To create functional art. We create spaces that are usable and pleasant to be in, but also builds a sense of community.“
